Feature request: Add MCP Server support to Remote Desktop Manager for macOS
1 vote
Remote Desktop Manager’s MCP Server support looks extremely valuable, but it currently appears to be Windows-only and is not planned for macOS. I would like to request that MCP Server support be added to the macOS version of Remote Desktop Manager.
This is an important feature for teams using macOS as their primary workstation environment. MCP support would allow RDM to integrate much more naturally with modern AI-assisted workflows, automation tools, and agent-based productivity setups. Without macOS support, teams that rely on RDM across platforms cannot fully adopt these workflows, even if the feature exists on Windows.
For organizations with mixed or Mac-heavy environments, this is not just a nice-to-have. It directly affects whether RDM can be used as the central connection and credential management tool in newer AI-enabled workflows. Having MCP Server support only on Windows creates a major platform gap.
I understand this feature is not currently planned, so I would strongly encourage other macOS users who need this capability to vote for this request. More votes will help show that there is real demand from the community and that macOS support should be prioritized.
Please consider adding MCP Server support to Remote Desktop Manager for macOS, ideally with a roadmap estimate or target release window. This would be a very meaningful addition for macOS users and would help keep the macOS version aligned with the capabilities available on Windows.
