Hi guys,
After last update of RDM all my opened tabs are going closed when I do an exit command or CTRL+D on a linux terminal.
Is there any configuration to avoid it?
Thanks!
Hi Deivis,
Thank you for reaching out!
We will test this on our side to see if we can reproduce it.
Could you provide me with the distro you're using?
Thank you!
Best regards,

Hello,
Thank you for the details.
On my end, the connection doesn’t close at all when using `exit` or pressing Ctrl+D. Instead, it appears to reconnect automatically. Is this what you were referring to?
Best regards,
Carl Marien
Hi Carl,
No, on my end if I had opened more than one tab (for the same or another host) when a exit one of that RDM closes all tabs (exit command or CTRL+D). If I click in the "X" button at the that, then RDM just close that tab keeping anothers opened.
Thanks helping me.
Hello,
Thank you for the details.
Based on the behavior you described, it is possible that the sessions are Serial connections rather than standard SSH sessions. For Serial sessions, there is currently a known, untested issue on our side where the application may freeze when the session is closed.
This behavior is known, and we are currently waiting for a matching setup to reproduce and test the issue internally.
Could you please confirm the type of session you are using (SSH or Serial)?
Thank you.
Carl Marien

Hi Carl,
SSH connections to Linux systems. I thinking about send a video record regarding this issue, does the forum accept that?
Thanks.
Hello,
Thank you for confirming.
A video recording would be very helpful to better understand what’s happening on your side. The forum itself doesn’t support video uploads directly, but I’ll send you a private message with a link where you can securely upload the video for us.
Once you’ve sent the video, could you please reply here on this thread to let me know? I don’t regularly check private messages, so replying here will make sure I don’t miss it.
Thanks again for your help. This should really help us move forward with reproducing the issue.
Best regards,
Carl Marien
