Currently, the Windows version already includes the RustDesk integration, allowing direct connections from Remote Desktop Manager (RDM) similar to TeamViewer.
Unfortunately, this integration is only available on Windows at the moment. It would be extremely beneficial if the same RustDesk integration were also available on iOS and macOS.
Since TeamViewer is supported across all platforms, adding RustDesk integration for iOS and macOS would greatly improve cross-platform usability, mobility, and administrative flexibility—especially for users who rely on Apple devices for remote support and management.
Thank you for considering this enhancement.
Thank you for your feedback,
To be able to offer a RustDesk integration on IOS and macOS, we would first need RustDesk’s own IOS/macOS application to expose a way for third-party apps like RDM to interact with them (for example: open a session, pass connection parameters, etc.).
We’d invite you to check with the RustDesk team to see if their iOS and macOS apps provide an API or integration mechanism that external tools can use to start or control sessions.
If such an API or integration point is available, feel free to share any documentation or details with us. That would greatly help us evaluate what we can do on our side to bring RustDesk integration to RDM IOS/macOS.
