Hi!
I switched from Windows to Fedora 42. Just installed latest version RDM
Tried adding a new entry, but I can't use images other than the default ones.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us regarding this matter.
It seems that this option is not available in your data source. I have forwarded your post as a feature request so the developers can review the possibility of adding it to another data source.
Best regards,
Tommy Sanders
By the way, I migrated the data source from Windows, which doesn't have this problem. On fedora 42, the icons for the entries migrated from Windows were preserved, while the new entries don't have the option for custom icons.

Hi ihectop,
Image configuration should work in RDM Linux with more options than just the default one.
I just investigated on my side, and there’s currently a bug that hides the tabs you would normally use to list the other available images.
I’ve logged a ticket to address this issue, but in the meantime, could you tell me which datasource type you are using? I may have a workaround depending of your current datasource type.
Regards,
Gabriel Dubois
Hi ihectop,
Sorry for the disjointed message chain, but I just wanted to let you know that we have found a quick fix to the issue and that it should be resolved in the next version of RDM Linux (2025.3). It should be released in about 2 weeks.
Best regards.

Good news, thanks a lot!
Hello,
This issue has been resolved, and the fix is available in the latest release of RDM (2025.3.0.8).
Please note that a database upgrade is required if you use SQL Server as your datasource.
Please consult this article prior to perform the upgrade
https://docs.devolutions.net/rdm/windows/installation/database-upgrade/
Please let us know if you are still encountering any issues or if this works as expected.
Best regards,
Maxim Robert
