Clone and move sub-sessions not possible

Clone and move sub-sessions not possible

avatar

I'm using web sub-sessions to ssh-sessions to have both kind of access attached to each other.
In general this works quite well, the problem comes in creating the sub-sessions.

On one hand, it is not possible to create the with batch-edit, on the other hand it is also not possible mark all ssh-sessions in one folder, click add -> add session -> new subentry, as this does the step only on the first marked item.

I also tried to duplicate an existing subentry and move it to another ssh-session, but "move" is grayed out.

I remember that I once did that in Windows, so could it be made available on Linux too ?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out on this matter.

I tested the issue and can confirm that the Move button appears to be grayed out on Windows as well. However, the key difference on Windows is that you can drag and drop entries onto another entry to set it as a sub-entry.

The development team has confirmed that this feature could potentially be implemented in a future update.

I will go ahead and open a feature request in the appropriate section of the forum. Once that's done, I will edit this post to include the link so you can follow it and contribute any additional information or use cases if you’d like.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Best regards,

Hello,

I just wanted to follow up and share the feature request topic I posted on the forum:

Feel free to add any additional information or use cases you might have; and if you support the idea, an upvote would help improve its visibility!
