Global Logging Mode Not Working for Terminal Sessions on Linux

avatar

Hello,

A client has reported that when configuring terminal sessions in RDM for Linux to use Global logging mode, no log file is generated. Logging only works when manually overriding the setting and specifying a full path and filename per session.
Expected behavior is that the global logging configuration should apply automatically when "Global" mode is selected, just as it works on Windows.

Devolutions staff acknowledged this issue and said it would be investigated, but this bug is being logged here as a standalone item to track progress.

Global logging has been fixed internally. The next version (2025.2.1) should be released sometimes in the next few weeks.

Best regards.
