Licenses are not perpetual any more?

Licenses are not perpetual any more?

Dear Devolutions,

We used to buy licenses once in a few years to be able to get updates. I.e. with expired license RDM was working.
But right now I see "No enterprise licese found" with yesterday expired RDM license.

Is this behaviour changed?

P.S. Another problem is your store is under maintenance now.

Hello Taras,

We are currently looking at the situation. We have some issues with our store and everything is under investigation at the moment.

We will get back to you shortly.

Thanks,

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out.

We transitioned from a perpetual licensing model to a subscription-based model approximately five years ago. This change was driven by the rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape. With new vulnerabilities emerging regularly, we felt it was our responsibility to ensure all users have access to the most up-to-date and secure versions of Remote Desktop Manager.

To accommodate those who may not require all the advanced features of the Enterprise edition, we’ve significantly enhanced RDM Free over time. It now offers many features that can be a good alternative, even in some enterprise scenarios.

Regards
