Send windows key on VNC & fileshare

Indeed, the only option for embedded VNC on RDM Mac is our own FreeVNC client currently. There are some external applications, but obviously UltraVNC does not exist for Mac so none of them will be compatible with the file transfer.

I think it would be straightforward for the RDM Mac team to add a shortcut for sending the Windows key.

For the file transfer, we have an implementation but it was never added in RDM Mac. They could integrate it, I'd have to let someone from that team comment on how easy that is or any potential timeframe. But just to be clear - it will only work when connecting to an UltraVNC server. File transfer is a vendor specific extension to the protocol (it's not part of vanilla VNC) and each vendor has their own implementation. Does that match your expectation? You use UltraVNC on the server?

I have made the ticket for the issue, altthough I need to warn you, at the moment, this feature is not really a priority so I can't really give you an ETA.

Yes, I always use Ultra as the server, so the file transfer would work in my example.

Sending the Windows key and having it a little toolbar would be awesome instead of having to go into the tab in the ribbon. Like the native ultravnc works on windows

A new version of RDM Mac(2024.3.9.0) is available. We have made some improvement to the VNC session like the possibility to send windows key and the addition of a toolbar.

I see it on the downloads page but not in updated within RDM.
