Hello,
RDP connections with the credential set to 'my personal credentials' wont open via the web client. If I explicitly define the credentials on the connection, or link them to a saved credential in the vault, then the connection does open via web client. Additionally, I don't see anywhere to configure 'My Account Settings\My Personal Credentials' in the hub web gui, like there is in RDM.

Hello Joe,
My personal credentials is a feature of RDM that is saved locally on your device where RDM is installed. That's why the web clients don't have access to it and why it's not editable in the web. We already have a task in our backlog to support it in the web but it's not planned for any releases yet.

Thanks for explaining. While we await support for 'my personal/priveleged credential', could there be better error message handling in hub for the web client pls. For example, a popup that says 'connection failed because unable to retrieve my personal credential'. Its very confusing trying to figure out why some connections via gateway with web client fail, and other works fine, depending on what is set for the credential property of the connection.

Thanks. As far as I recall, the only message the web client has shown is 'connection failed', irrespective of the underlying cause. Besides the credential being the cause of the connection failure, another cause I've noticed is the hostname not resolving because it is a variable. Sometimes the gateway log file has more info, maybe the web client could include the response from the gateway in its error message shown in the browser so there are not 2 places to check.

Thanks for the additional information, I've added it to the bug.
Did you know that we added the possibility to see the Gateway logs from the administration section? I understand it remains 2 places, but it might be easier than getting the logs on the Gateway directly.

With our 2025.1 release, the support for My Personal Credentials/My Privileged Account/My Personal Private Key when using DVLS and Hub datasources is now available in RDM. You can download it here: https://devolutions.net/remote-desktop-manager/download/
Let us know if you have any additional feedback regarding this feature. Please note that edition of these credentials is not available in the Web UI yet, but it's still planned to eventually be available.
