Unable to add gateway to Hub Biz

Hello,

Having a few issues adding a gateway to a Hub Business account with no gateways previously configured:

  • There is no option to download custom installer for gateway
  • With no gateway configured, there is no option to download public key pem, subsequently a standalone gateway cannot be configued via DVLS console because setup requires the pem file
  • If the gateway address in inaccessible, the gateway cannot be added in the hub portal


Please let me know if you would like any additional info.

Hello Joe,

Do you not have those options on your side?


  1. There's no custom installer for the Gateway but there's an installer.
  2. The option to download should be there.
  3. Yes, the Gateway has to be accessible from the computer/browser trying to add the Gateway via the Hub web client. Configurations have to be pushed to the Gateway via the browser.

Thanks Maxime. Yesterday when I clicked the 3 dots in upper right, there was no sub menu dropdown. Tried from 2 different computers using Edge browser.

However today, the submenu is working on one computer, but not the other. I can now download the files I need from the working computer, so all good, but not sure why it doesnt work on the other one....

Hi Joe,

If you have the chance, could you check your browser's console (typically F12 or Ctrl+Shift+I) to see if you have any console errors when going to the Gateway administration page with the computer that can see the issue?
