Hi David,

in fact {CTRL}^ does work, I just wanted to share the solution as I could not get it real keystrokes to work.

I have tried ^{Break} and it does not seem to work

I'll have to try this, thank you! I'd been having difficulties sending BREAK interactively; I discovered that toggling the magnet icon ("Grab keyboard input") in the bottom right of the status bar will allow the break sequence to be entered correctly.
