Hello,

Recently we tried to configure Forticlient vpn connections in MacOS, but we don't have the option in our RDM.
How we can configure it?

regards,

For now FortiClient vpn is not supported by RDM Mac
We use command lines to send information to the VPN and for now,
we haven't find any reliable way to do it for forticlient vpn.

If you know any application or way that could help on that point, we are happy to try and experiment with it.

Best regards,

Hi,

my support team is using Windows PCs, but I, as an administrator, use Mac. I
Do I have any option from Mac client or from web to configure all the credentials for Fortinet VPNs connections for those that are using RDM on Windows? I want to keep those credentials in the Devolutions hub, so that the service agents don't see them in plain text? But I still need to have a way to manage those credentials from Mac or web.

How about RDM on Linux? Does it support Fortinet vpns? I can't find it in the app. Is it possible to utilize at least OpenfortiVPN?

Best regards

Hello mktr,

to answer your questions,
It is possible on MacOs to do the FortiClient entry, although it will only act as a credentials entry. You would enter your credentials but you would not be able to use it.

I will reach out to the linux team to inquire about the entry.

Finally, yes we did try with OpenfortiVPN, but the end result was not acceptable to us. You still have to enter your sudo command in the terminal, and the input command will be shown in the terminal OpenfortiVPN run in.

We are looking for others options, but they seem pretty limited at this point.

Best regards,
