Please add "Add-On Manager" for mac
Sophos Connect v2 is not usable on mac because RDM for Mac has more limitation in regards to the selection of VPNs available.
It also doesn't have an "Add-On Manager" like in the Windows version, which is where the Sophos Connect entry is from. so we can not use Sophos Connect v2 on mac.
Hi,
In RDM Windows, they use the sccli command line tool packaged with Sophos Connect v2 to launch and stop Sophos Connect v2. Do you know if any such tool is available with the Mac version?
Best regards,
Xavier Fortin
Hi, I doesn't know if there is a cli for mac. i have to ask Sophos about this.
Best Regards,
Rene
Hi Xavier,
i get the information from sophos germany, that in mac there is also a cli. The commands are the same like in windows.
Best regards,
Rene
Alright, thanks for this!
I will open a ticket for the implementation of Sophos Connect v2 to RDM Mac.

hi,
I need some information to help me implement Sophos Connect v2 for RDM Mac.
first, could you verify if you have a CLI in the packages content of the Sophos Connect application. To access it, you have to right click the application icon (ctrl + click) in the Finder and select show package contents. it should be somewhere in there.
If the CLI is present could you try this commande "sccli show --version" and see if it work for you.
Best regards,
Gabriel Dufresne
Hi Gabriel
i hade opened a case by sophos support. There is no cli in Sophos Connect for Mac. So we and you can do nothing. Sorry for this misunderstanding.
Best regards,
Rene
