Dear RDM support,
please would it be possible to add keyboard shortcut that would change data source?
Or even better, create specific shortcuts for data sources.
Thank you
Michal
Hello Michal,
This option already exist in File - Option - User Interface - Keyboard. There many other shortcuts you can configure in that section.
Let me know if that helps!

Hi Erica,
I forgot to state - im using mac version
and I cannot find this option there
Thanks
Michal
And as we are talking about this, Im also missing that goto bookmark 1-9 that I can see on your picture.
Wouldnt be the best way to merge shortcuts, so there are same options for Win and Mac?
I would be very happy, because Im using both versions.
thanks
Hi,
We'd rather focus on what is actually used by users instead of doing a full merge of all shortcuts. Some imply features that would need to be implemented and this is not a trivial task. Shortcuts are not handled the same between the RDM Mac and RDM Windows application. We use the default macOS behaviour of having shortcut be associated with menu item (in the main menu).
I'll open a ticket for the "Change Data Source". As for the "Goto Bookmarks" shortcuts, this is an example of what I explained earlier. We do not support bookmarking embedded tab, so adding this shortcuts would not just be a matter of configuring shortcut, we'd actually need to implement the whole feature. I'll open a ticket for this as well.

thanks Xavier Ill be happy to see this working.
Have a nice day
Michal
Hi michalmasek,
As of RDM Mac 2023.1.5.0, there is now a File -> "Change Data Source" menu item that allows to change data source using the keyboard. The default shortcuts is ⌘⇧D, but this can be changed in Settings -> User Interface -> Shortcuts -> Shortcuts.
Best regards,
