Strange Email Notifications from DVLS

Strange Email Notifications from DVLS

avatar

We have turned on email notifications from our DVLS system recently, and are getting occasional messages like the two that follow to the administrator email address. We are not having any problems that I would associate with either of these messages. Do these messages indicate problems with our system? If not is there a way to turn them off and still get relevant emails, like backup failures?

Hello,

Instead of adding your administrator email under Administration > Server Settings > Email, you can use notifications: https://helpserver.devolutions.net/webinterface_notifications.html

For more information, please read this recent thread: https://forum.devolutions.net/topics/37149/event-notifications#160856

For the first error, it seems to be a password that was incorrectly entered, it can be ignored. For the second issue, is that user able to authenticate in the system?

Best regards,

Richard Boisvert

Yes, just like sjames says in that thread, I am getting administrator emails when users enter wrong passwords. François says this should not happen, but that is what is happening to me and apparently sjames as well.

Similar.

I'm getting this.
