Using Brave browser with the Web Login extension.
RDM working as expected.
Browser crashed; and the crash also took RDM down.
Now, RDM won't start anymore:
$ remotedesktopmanager (RemoteDesktopManager:12674): GLib-GIO-WARNING **: 11:40:50.849: Your application does not implement g_application_activate() and has no handlers connected to the 'activate' signal. It should do one of these.
Need to log out and back in again to be able to start RDM.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us on that matter!
Which version of RDM and what type of Data Source you are currently using? Also, on which platform are you using RDM?
Best regards,
James Lafleur
RDM Version 2021.2.1.2
Data source: SQL Server
Platform: Ubuntu Linux 18.04
Hello,
Thank you for your swift reply!
Since you are using RDM Linux, I will move your forum topic to the appropriate section of our forum. That being said, we are currently unable to reproduce this issue. Would it be possible for you to test this scenario on another Linux machine and see if the issue occurs?
Best regards,
James Lafleur
I have the same problem on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed
(RemoteDesktopManager.Free:3665): GLib-GIO-WARNING **: 20:15:51.812: Your application does not implement g_application_activate() and has no handlers connected to the 'activate' signal. It should do one of these.

Hello, I was wondering if there is already an update about how to solve this error?
I have the same issue on Debian11.
==================================
RemoteDesktopManager.Free:2611): GLib-GIO-WARNING **: 22:14:50.202: Your application does not implement g_application_activate() and has no handlers connected to the 'activate' signal. It should do one of these.
Marshaling clicked signal
Exception in Gtk# callback delegate
Note: Applications can use GLib.ExceptionManager.UnhandledException to handle the exception.
==================================
The first line is the same, but it's only a warning.
The reason your RDM crashed is different and seems to be an error a in callback delegate.
Could you add a bit of context like what you were doing in what screen to we can narrow it down?
Regards
Jonathan Lafontaine
Sorry for the delay in answering the question.. This is what I do:
1) run: ./remotedesktopmanager.free from bin directory (with and without sudo)
2) choose option : Register with Devolutions Account
3) Click OK
4) application closes with the error
I just was able to use option : Register with serial number - found the key on the portal website: https://portal.devolutions.com/serials
The software is now registered on my name.
Hi,
I have added the information you provided us to the task and we will get back to you when we figure it out.
