When trying to connect to a VNC Server (Direct Connection) it fails after entering the password. Whith VNC Viewer from the same machine it works.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us on that matter!
Since you mention being able to use VNC Viewer successfully to access this remote host, my recommendation would be to switch to the External display mode and use either RealVNC or VNC Viewer Plus as your VNC Application.
This will allow you to use a full-fledged VNC application to connect to your remote host rather than our embedded integration, which is somewhat due for an overhaul.
Don't hesitate to let us know if you have any additional questions regarding this case!
Best regards,
Gabriel Degrandpré
Thx for your answer.
I would be more convenient to have the connection in a tab - and the other problem is that i cant store the password with the RDM Connection for automation when I use "external".
Any other option?
Thx
Werner
Hello,
I understand that a tabbed connection would be more convenient. I have sent a message to our engineering team regarding your case, and the state of the embedded VNC integration in general, to see if we could do anything to investigate the issue with the Embedded integration.
I will keep you updated when I receive their response!
Best regards,
Gabriel Degrandpré
