Hi,
currently its not possible to send the HASH key on mac to a windows client
normally i would use ALT+3 to type # in say texteditor or rdp sessions
however its not possible inside waykclient in RDM
its also not possible in standalone waykclient unless i tick the item 'Send Input as Unicode' then once i use ALT+3 it then send the hash key as expected
the is no option for unicode inside the waykclient in RDM can this be added?
Regards
Simon
Hi Simon,
I'm not sure what you are talking about. Can't you just copy/paste the hash? Could you provide a video demonstrating the issue?

Hi Xavier,
ill try but its very hard to sorta demostrate
but basically...
i can send the HASH key/symbol (#) (ALT+3) in the standalone waykclient app if i tick 'Send Input as Unicode'
but the 'Send Input as Unicode' option is missing in the built-in waykclient in RDM
the is no way to send the HASH symbol or anything?
Regards
Simon
Alright, I'll get in touch with the Wayk team. If it's an option available in the standalone client, it should be portable to RDM.

Hi Simon,
Adding the "Send Input as Unicode" feature is a non-trivial matter. That being said, the Wayk team is in the process of reworking the components used in the different versions of RDM (Window, Mac, etc.) This will include the "Send Input as Unicode".
This is a lot of work though, so, as of yet, we do not have an ETA for this. We will post back here when this is available in a released version.
