DPH Using Browser for Network Traffic???

1. Are you trying to migrate to Password Hub Business or Personal?
2. Just to make sure, did you start the migration in RDM?
3. Were you connected to Password Hub Business or Personal with your web browser?

Normally, RDM would use an HTTP client to communicate with the server. It shouldn't impact your browser. The fact that you mention that your browser was being used too leads me to believe you were using Password Hub Personal. I believe they have an auto-sync (RDM -> Web Client / Browser) feature, but I could be wrong. I will double check this with the right developers.

Answering the three questions above should help us pin-point the problem.

I dont understand this question, I was doing via RDM but traffic was going via my default browser process.

For the question "Were you connected to Password Hub Business or Personal with your web browser?", we meant if the Web Client (hub.devolutions.com) was opened in web browser during the migration. The reason why you might have browser network traffic is because the web client is opened and syncing what is your data source, for exemple, if you add an entry in RDM, the web client will sync this new entry. If you close the tab where the web client is opened do you still have the network traffic?

About the performance issue, when you are talking about migration, I suppose you are talking about the performance when importing .a rdm file in a Hub Personal data source is similar to importing in a DOD data source?

OK I understand now regarding the browser query as yes it did and still does prompt for auth etc from within RDM for DPH Personal, as to performance yes, the migration seems slow but DPH Personal certainly seems better than Devolutions Online Drive was, but would you say there would be much difference between DPH Personal & Business?? I was going to test with DPH Business myself with my data, but my Trial account won't pass my 2FA at present it just loops asking for my Security Key after successfully validating it each time it then loops back to prompt which is strange as its fine on my Web app login with my Security Key?? Tried the usual clearing cookies diff browsers and InPrivate sessions Aswell as making sure all security filters on the browsers and security system were not getting in the way but Ive still been unable to test DPH business trial since creating it few days ago???

Any ideas on that front??

Hi John,

1. If I understand correctly, you are currently unable to login into your Hub Business data source via RDM. Is that correct? If so, what's your RDM version?
2. As for differences between Hub Personal & Business, in terms of performance, I would be tempted to say that currently Hub Business might be a bit slower than Personal due to the additional features. (Such as permissions, multiple vaults, etc)

Sorry I posted here without thinking Ive got a ticket open that's being investigated for this issue Jeff is my agent on the case,

But yes, my DPH business login is still looping with or without 2FA, Jeff presently is investigating whether my account has conflicted as I used the same URL from a DPH v2 instance on a new DPH v3 instance??
