Sign-in issue with RDM 2021.1.7 64-bit Free BETA

Upon launching RDM, I was unexpectedly presented with a dialog to sign in with my Windows credentials. The username in this dialog is prefilled with my Microsoft 365/Azure Active Directory username (AzureAD\FirstnameLastname). The dialog does not accept my corresponding AAD password. I changed the username to my email address associated with my AAD account and it still does not accept the password.

I was able to get past this dialog with credentials for a local admin account.

I believe that before upgrading to the BETA, I set the option Application Security (Local) to "Use this computer's credentials as application password". I believe that explains the "unexpected" aspect of this. However, I'm still puzzled why the application is not using my AAD password. Could it be due to having 2FA enabled on that account?

Hello,

It doesn't seem like I have the issue after toggling the option and updating to the Beta version, although I do not have a 2FA set up on my account.
If you are unable to open Remote Desktop Manager, you can head over to %LocalAppData%\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManagerFree and move your remotedesktopmanager.cfg file to your desktop. From there, you will simply need to Re-open RDM and re-connect to your Data Sources.
