Hi,

How are you guys?!

I have a issue, why do not have a template of Mikrotik/WinBOX in RDM for Mac?!

When i use command line (external app) or command line, but have a bug with open session with tabs embedded. Did not work, always open in external window!

It's possible in next update add the new session of Mikrotik/WinBOX?! I'm really appreciate that, so much.

Thanks a lot.

Best Regards.

Hi,

I'm fine! Thanks for asking ;)

So, I've checked MicroTik website and they do not appear to have a macOS integration. They suggest using Wine to run their Windows executable. I'm not that familiar with Wine, but as you seem to have been able to configure a Command Line session that launches it, I assume that Windows application running with Wine can properly be launched with command line under macOS? Can you confirm? I just want to make sure.

All this being said, you mentioned "but have a bug with open session with tabs embedded. Did not work, always open in external window!". If your talking about the WinBOX window being displayed in a tab directly inside of RDM. While I realise this is what RDM Windows does, this is definitely not possible in RDM Mac. macOS does not give control to third party developer to manipulate other processes' windows (e.g. RDM (remotedesktopmanager process) cannot manipulate/embed WinBOX's (Winbox.exe process) windows. So the integration would still open WinBOX "externally".

Hi, thanks for a rapid response.

Yes, I’m using the Wine for make windows version of winbox run in macOS. I testing the command line (application external) and command line (executable).

i know the third party of developers have difficult to manipulate processes in macOS.

But I guess a insert option like “parameters” maybe is possible work line windows process.

When Wine run the version windows. The process in macOS call “pre64” i will make some screenshots for better understanding inf you allow me.

Thanks.
