I am very happy that the android version is now in a usable state, RDP is working quite well but SSH/terminal is in barely usable. Can you try using it on a chromebook, you will immediately see, that s lot of keyboard functionality is just not there. This starts with Fn Keys (Search 1 to 0 on chromebooks) and ends with a simple ESC in vi that is not working.. Have a look at common keyboard shortcuts in midnight commander like alt-enter (put the current selected file in the command line).. thanks!
Hi,
Thank you, we will investigate the issues.

Hi,
Can you give us the 5, 6 key combinations that that you use the most.

I seem to not have answered the question at the time and just stumbled over it while checking the state of the app on chromebooks (not changed at all :( )
please just use midnight commander and try all F-Keys (you can't even exit without F10), use alt-enter, use esc-tab - nothing works at all.
also have a look at the ascii characters used for drawing lines in ncurses (used by midnight commander). it looks as you support only ascii-7 like it's 1992..
Hi,
Thank you for the update, we will check it out.

Hi,
Have you ever used another SSH application on a Chromebook that works with midnight commander and F-Keys?
If so which one are you using?
Best Regards,
Nicolas Dufour
right now I use https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/termius-ssh-client/fjcdjmmkgnkgihjnlbgcdamkadlkbmam which is not perfect (usually F1-F4 is a problem) but in general works (by using search 1-10-+ for F1 to F12).
Hi,
The search key + 1-10-+ will work as expected in the next release.
The search key or ctrl key + 1-10-+ will send keys F1 to F12.
Do you have problems with other keys (keys that are working on terminus-ssh and are not working on RDM Android) ?

Nicolas Dufour
great news!
and yes, alt-enter doesn't seem to work. when you start midnight commander (apt install mc) and move the cursor over a file, press alt-enter, the filename should be copied into the command line below the file panels.
Hi, the alt + enter command has been implemented. It will be available in the next release.

very excited!
