Keepass plugin Question

Goodmorning,

i have a question regarding the keepass plug in i have installed the plugin and it is working.

but when i want to use is or search in the database i have to open the keepass data trough keepass.

is there a solution that keepass is ful integrated in de rdm software? sp that i do not have to open the keepass database al the time.

Hello,

That is how Keepass is designed, the add-on is the shim that prevents having access to the keepass database. It calls services in Keepass to get the credentials in a safe manner.

Not launching Keepass would mean that we would open the database ourselves, I do not believe that its documented, nor an avenue that is recommended.

thanxs for the response.

i will try to explain why i want keepass fully integrateted in remote desktop manager.

we have reset the admin password en all the rds are now in the software but only i can see the password for the other users it is not availible.
this is also what i want for the keepass so that i only know the password and that the others users only can read the database (keepass) and that they dont have to type the password for the database.

I'm attempting to configure the KeePass add-on. The help topic would have me edit > add credentials entry, but I see no menu item for that. Is it a feature held-back from the Free version?

Hello,

Right, the Free edition only allows to type a credential directly within a remote access session. We feel that offering interaction with other credential managers is an Enterprise feature, but we review our feature set regularly and keep adding them to the Free Edition.
