Hello,
if you configure a (RDP) session with computername name.$DOMAIN$ , the $DOMAIN$ value are not displayed in the overview. If you connect to the session, the variable are correctly resolved.

Hello,
Good catch ;)
I'm opening a ticket for that one too.
Thank you!
Best regards,

Thanks again :)

Sorry but I can't reproduce it. It's resolved for me. Do you have a print screen? Marc have you reproduce it?

Hi David,
attached the screenshot.
Thanks!

Ok,
Do you know if the domain is in the entry or in another credential entry? We don't resolve the linked credential entry for performance reason
David Hervieux
Ok, then this is the reason - the domain is set in the linked credential entry.

Min
But interesting that below the domain is resolved correctly - should it not be also resolved in the hostname field as well? (In the data source setting enable resolve variables in overview is set)

Min
Could you post an export to reproduce the problem?

David Hervieux
Attached my scenario..
Thank you! ;)

I see what you mean now but I don't have an easy solution. This could really slow down the loading of the tree if we have to resolve variables within multiple levels. In this case, we have to do the inherited and resolve a linked entry from a credentials.
