13.0.17.0 breaks credential detection for some web browser sessions

Hello,

we have a weird behaviour. We have a lot of sub web browser connections and everything works well until version 13.0.15.0. Now we are on 13.0.17.0 and the issue is still present. The strange is, the behaviour does not occur with every connection - and I could not find any common base yet

The issue occurs on existing sessions, and also on new new sessions created with Devolutions Web Login (and configure afterwards as sub connection).

We tried the connections also with 13.0.6.0 and there the sub connection detection works and the credentials are filled in. At 13.0.15.0 and 13.0.17.0 no matching entries could be found.
Attached a short log from the profiler - 3 times with web browser as sub - and the last as root session. Only the last attempt was succesfull, if we configure it back to a sub, the matching again doesnt work.

I can provide 3 different URLs where the mentioned behaviour occurs.
Devolutions Web Login Version: 5.2.13.0

Thanks!

Regards,
Min

Hello Min,

I'm looking at the code right now and it seems we've fixed an issue with shortcuts a little bit ago. Are the parents of your sub-entries actually shortcuts? I think this is what may be causing the problem, but I'd like your confirmation.

Hello Hubert,

no, sorry in our case the parents are RDP respectively SSH-Shell entrys. I can provice you an example per PM if you want. If you try it in 13.0.6.0 Devolutions Web Login find the credentials - on 13.0.17.0 not.

An export would be appreciated, since the issue isn't obvious if it's not related to shortcuts :)

Thank you, this was useful to debug it ;)

I found the issue and it works after I changed a few things. Next RDM beta will contain this fix.
