Use RDM to invoke SecureCRT connection not in Session Manager

avatar

Instead of using the SecureCRT session database to begin the Secure CRT session would it be possible to add the ability to launch Secure CRT by inputting a IP address or host name in the RDM database similar to the way you integrate with Putty now?

As the RDM product sits now you the RDM database querying the Secure CRT session database, which seems overly complicated for those of us who mainly use SecureCRT as a tabbed SSH console...

I have tested launching "auto connect" SecureCRT sessions with the following basic commandline parameters which does open a new Secure CRT window. (instead of the preferred new tab)

C:\Program Files\VanDyke Software\SecureCRT>SecureCRT.exe XX.XX.XX.XX (for an IP address)

Works great!!! now, if only there was a way to open a new tab in securecrt if it was already running... it would be just about perfect!..
