Please, could you create or update the old SAP GUI addon?
At the moment the addon is like 3 years old, and cannot interact with xml that are used by SAP GUI 7.40 and newer versions.
The ADDON at the moment is still requiring a saplogon.ini file that is not used by SAPGUI since 7.30.
This is quite a mandatory need for everyone that uses RDM with SAP systems.
Thanks a lot.
Saplogon.ini and xml are quite similar, containing the same system information, but they have different syntax.
Again, thanks in advice.
Hi,
That something we could check this summer but I have to be honest. We don't have access to SAP. We might need your help to get a fake but valid Xml and also to test it.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply.
I can provide a working xml, but I prepher sending it by PM and not posting it on a public forum, as it could provide sensible informations.
Let me know if I can send it to you.
Thnaks a lot.
No problem. We will contact you to get the xml as soon as we are ready to work on the add-on.

David Hervieux
Hello,
Sorry about the long delay. Are you still available for sending the XML/INI file and helping us test the add-on after we make the changes?
Regards,
Hubert Mireault
Hi Hubert/David,
I can help you with the new XML format if you need. Let me know what I can do to help.

William
Hello,
Thank you for offering your assistance to troubleshoot this.
Could you please send us the XML & the .INI files used by SAP GUI to support@devolutions.net? I will forward them to our engineers for analysis.
Also, if you can, would it be possible to provide us limited access to let's say a staging environment so we can investigate?
We would understand if you can't for security reasons but providing us access would greatly help.
If you can, please send us the details to our support email.
Best regards,
Mark Beausejour
Hello,
We've added xml support using the exemple xml you guys provided us. Like David said we do not have a SAP setup to test with so hopefully this is what you needed. If not feel free to post back here or contact support.
