MS SQL - enable SSL encryption

Hi
We'd like to encrypt the sql traffic from PVM / RDM to the MSSQL Database. Is there a configuration needed in PVM / RDM?
We are using MS SQL 2016 Express.

Hello,

You can configure an SSL certificate on your server if you want to secure the connection to the database to find out more please have a look at this article

Yes this is what I already now. So there is nothing to change at the configuration of the Datasource on PVM or RDM - correct?

Hello,

My apology I did not comprehend your question properly, Inside RDM please go in Data source settings -> Advanced -> Advanced settings and change the "Encrypt" value to "Yes" just like below
