Add-On Request: BGInfo-like, except FGInfo for session

For those who don't know, BGInfo is a utility from Sysinternals (now owned by MSFT) that allows setting system info into the wallpaper:

I'd like the ability to show text on a session that's "painted on the glass" - stays on top. Enable it to be set with two opacity levels: default, and mouseover. So it's the default opacity (probably mostly transparent) all the time, but (if set), mousing over the area brings it up.

Honestly I don't need all the system info - right now I'm just struggling with needing a big in-your-face reminder about which system I'm on and its role.
