Open MobaXterm session (in the same way you can just open a PowerShell session)

Hi Everyone,
I have recently started using RDM-Free, and really love it. I imported all my RDP bookmarks from RDCMan, and as my primary automation language is Powershell I love that I can just click on the powershell icon on the left pane and i get a full screen session on the main pane.

My only issue thus far is I cannot get this same functionality with the MobaXTerm addon. I use MobaXTerm to SSH to different systems, or review logs locally using Bash commands that I havent figured out the PowerShell equivalent of.

What I would really like to be able to do is have a icon on the left pane, just like I have for powershell, and it open up MobaXTerm in the main pane, just like it does for powershell, however I cannot figure out how to do this.

Any assistance anyone can provide would be amazing! Thank you!

Hi,
Unfortunately there is many applications we are not able to embed. For example Team Viewer and Dameware. We use an hack to do that and when the application has a complex UI it just does not work. Have you tried just for a test to create Cmd connection with the command line for MobaXterm and select embedded instead of external?

forgive my ignorance of the subject as I am new to RDM-Free, can you clarify what you are recommending me to try?

Hello,

You should be able to open MobaXterm with a command line outside RDM.

When you have this command line in hand, you can try to create a Command Line session in RDM to execute the command line in embedded mode.
