ASDM Addon Bug
Just discovered the ASDM addon for RDM, however when using local ASDM v1.7(0) the "Device IP Address / Name" field is entered with (0)}} at the start. It doesn't matter if I use an IP Address or an FQDN for this field.
Any ideas?

We haven't been able to reproduce this exact issue but we found another similar one. A fix has been made internally for the issue we found and it will be available in the next build of RDM. It is possible it will fix your current issue so when the new build is available, it would be appreciated if you could try it out and give us some feedback.
If it still doesn't work, it would be very useful if you could send an export of your entry (without the credentials) so we can test what is filled and if we can reproduce it in our environment.

Out of curiosity I upgraded my RDM version from 11.7.2.0 to the current latest 12.0.8.0 (I realise your fix will be in the next release) and the error was still present, not sure if this info will be useful be thought it was note worthy.
In regards to the RDP file, I'm sure I can get this to you if required. The only thing I can think which differs from the guide is the "Login Title" is not the default of "ASDM-IDM" or "Authentication Required", to get it to recognise our ASDM I have to enter "Cisco ASDM-IDM Launcher v1.7(0)"

I didn't have the same result as you from testing but I do believe there was an issue with sending the parentheses in this case, since the way I found the (different) issue was by using them. The fix should definitely help in this case.
