Using Shrewsoft on a group, with a config.vpn stored i RDM. RDP sessions inherits from group. Perfect.
Now the customer has changed public IP, so I need to change the config. How to do this?
Follow up: So I need to download config file, edit it, and upload it again. How to ?
Hi,
You could try to use the batch edit.

Hi David.
I'm not sure what that should accomplish, so I assume, I haven't explained the situation correct.
I only have the VPN settings on the Group. All sessions just Inherit the vpn settings from the group. And this is working perfect. but...
The config for the VPN (IP, Preshared key, Phase 1 algorithm, Phase 2, and other settings) are stored in RDMS. So if I manually open my Shrewsoft Client, I do not have the connection. When I try to use a RDP in the group it will start the VPN, with the settings from the RDMS. and when I close the last session, it will close the VPN. So I need some how to be able top download the config file from the server, edit it manually, and then upload (or store) it back to the server.

Ok, I figured it out, but you really need to look into this.
While the Shrewsoft client is trying to establish the connection, before the timeout occurs, I can open the "VPN Manager" and Rename the temp connection. Then I can edit, and the change the group's VPN settings to use and store the new config.
Hello Brian,
Could you send a small video to support. We will look into it.
