Hi,
i have to manage different versions of VMware ESX servers, 3.5 and 5.1i. each ESX need his own version of the Virtual Infrastructure Client.
in the RDM Installation path, i can set only the default path for one of these clients.
e.g.
C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure35\Virtual Infrastructure Client\Launcher\
or
C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure5i\Virtual Infrastructure Client\Launcher\
Is it possible to setup RDM to start either the VpxClient.exe of 3.5 or VpxClient.exe 5.1i?
many thanks and rgs Bob
I found a workaround.
I use the command line option and put the full path into the "Run" field. changed the icon to an Vmware icon, and it works.

Hi,
I will see what I can do and get back to you. I think that I did something for Team Viewer and maybe we could reuse it.

Hi,
I have verified but I was not able to do the complete test. You can add more than one path in the configuration separated with ;
for example:
c:\vclient50;c:\vclient60
RDM will prompt you to choose which one to use
