TeraTerm Addon: Connection Fails Using Plugin

TeraTerm Addon: Connection Fails Using Plugin

avatar

Hi,

I have a number of connections that use that TeraTerm addon fine, however for a couple of connections I get the following error message:

When connecting manually through the TeraTerm application itself the connections works fine.
I have checked the TeraTerm .ini file and the encrypt alogrithms are listed correctly.

The problem just seems to happen using the addon (but many other connections work fine with the addon).

Regards

Mark

Hello Mark,

Could you try posting the error message again, both a picture and text? The picture doesn't show up.

Hi Hubert,

Thanks for your response, I can see the picture fine looking at the post but I'll attach again.

The error box is a TTSSH box which says:
"unknown Encrypt algorithm(ctos):
aes128-ctr,aes192-ctr,aes256-ctr,aes256-cbc"

Thank you, the picture works now. As for the error itself, I'm not sure if there's much we can do. We use Tera Term Pro's command line parameters and call the executable with them. You could create a command line entry in RDM which calls the executable with the same parameters and see if that works.
