Hi Guys,
I've just tried to use RDM on my iPhone.
If I try to connect to our sql server, I get the following connection error:
Unable to connect to the server!
Logon error. The login is for an untrusted domain and cannot be used with windows authentication. [Translated from German]
I assume this is related to an certification error / a selfsigned certificate. But even adding our root certificate to the iphone does not resolve the error.
Any suggestions?
Best regards,
Christian
Hi,
Are you using integrated security? If so, have you specified the domain in the username field?
When using integrated security you must specify the domain just like so : domain\username

Thx! It works!
Have had aabbc@abc.de instead of abc.de\aabbc
Good to know that it works for you :)
In the next release it is going to be much clearer to avoid any confusion.
Best regards,

Hi,
we als cannot connect to our SQL Server via iPhone/iPad
In the settings of the datasource, everything is ok. We use integrated security with domain\username
"Test Server" and "Test Database" works fine! "Information: Connection to the database successul!"
So I hit "Done" and go to "Connections".
The error is:
"Unable to connect to your data source".
On PC everything is fine with that source.
Sorry about that! I just saw there is a new version of RDP Manager that works fine!
