It is possible to use VMWare Sphere to open a VM directly?
Thanks

What is the VM Sphere client? We have vmware-vmrc.exe integrated.

Sorry, VMWave vSphere Client --> "C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\Infrastructure\Virtual Infrastructure Client\Launcher\VpxClient.exe".
It's running, but I can only the VM Host. not a dedicated VM.

Do you know if we can send the vm name in parameter?
David Hervieux
I am pretty sure you would need to enable a VNC connection on the VM and then use VNC:
http://www.marcomc.com/2011/01/how-to-connect-to-vmware-server-console-via-mac-os-x/
Connecting with VNC is just connecting to the OS, not the VM console (you can't power on/off, you can't see the boot-up or BIOS etc.)
afaik there's no parameter to connect to a VM directly, but you can add server, username and passwort to connect to a vCenter Server or ESXi-Host to manager VMs.
For basic remote desktop to a VM I'd recommend you use RDP for Windows or whatever is a good remote desktop software for whatever OS you're running.
vCenter has a Web Client where you can maybe connect to a VM using a specific URL?
