Usage Log -

Last Week & last 7 days - results of (9/6/2014 - 9/13/2014) - Result should exclude current date and be an actual last week of 7 days like 9/6/2014 - 9/12/2014.
Custom - Target date chosen for 8/1/2014 to 8/31/2014 and result was provided as 7/31/2014 to 9/1/2014
Last month - results from 7/31/2014 to 9/1/2014 - Result should be 8/1/2014 - 8/31/2014.

looks like the math is off on the data searches.

Export to CSV, html, & xls does not actually save anything and it does not provide an error either.
Export to xml does work & when you open in Excel the columns do not match what I had listed in RDM...

The usage log had the following columns: Group, Log Date, End Date/Time, Active Time, Duration, On Close Comment, & Connection Type. What actually showed in Excel was as follow: Group, On Close Comment, Log Date, End Date/Time, Active Time, Duration, & Connection Type. The export should match the order in which you choose to have the columns ordered.

Reports - Usage Log - (need options to deselect columns) same date issues from above apply to the reports.

Save to Webpage, complete (*.htm, *.html) produces a blank file.
Save to Web archive, single file (*.mht) does not save the file at all.
Save to Webpage, html only (*.htm, *.html) works.

If possible can you add a total line entry at the bottom showing something like

200 entries, 30 days, Active Time 04:14:14 Duration: 05:19:00 or give the user the option to select a total line and what to display on that line similar to a footer etc.

Reason for the above is due to a request to pull times for support and seeing the issues. Also in one instance I noticed that the active time was greater than the duration and that should not be the case.

Once I was able to export to xml and import into Excel I needed to remove select columns, and add additional columns to show total time in HH:MM:SS.

Hi,
I have verified the filter and it gives me the right dates. Could you verify if you use the client time, local time our utc time?

Hi David,

I was using the local time, I don't recall ever changing that unless I did so long ago and never noticed. I placed it on Client Time and it seems correct but the last week still seems off no?

I also noticed that adding information into close comment section for a session that opens externally does not retain the close comments. It also does not record the end date/time as well. I'm not sure how difficult that would be considering RDM would need to be able to tell the difference when a session is closed providing it's a tab in a browser or a separate instance. I've seen where the close comment would not appear even though I've closed the window which was launched by RDM only because I have a different instance of the web browser open etc.

Can that be corrected as I have several entries that work that way and when I pulled the reports I realized none of the entries were there. the workaround would be to launch the web session in a tabbed environment which works.

Something to think about for after version 10 is released.

I will change the last week to not include the current day. For the close comment it's not supported by all the types. For example the web browser external mode is not supported.
