SQL Server Management Studio with Encryption

Is there a way to tell the RDM SQL Server Management Studio Add On to use an encrypted connection? For example: when I connect to a Database Engine from SSMS, I can click the Options button, followed by the Connections Properties tab, and check-mark the Encrypt Connection option.
