Securecrt session not embeded

Securecrt session not embeded

avatar

Hi,

Im using RDM with securecrt addon.
When I start the session, securecrt is not embedded in rdm, even if the "embedded" option is checked.
Is there a requirement about the securecrt vesion to have it embedded ?
My current version of securecrt is 7.0.3..

We use the title of the app to locate its running session

Can you send us a screen shot of the securecrt session?

I mean, when I open the session using the button "Open(Embedded,Tabbed)", I get the same result as if use "Open(external)", ie the securecrt session is not tabbed and into RDM, as it is for example with Firefox..

Hi

I need to see the title bar of the secureCrt session

Changing the title, or having team viewer running may change the title bar.

Thank you

The content of the title bar can change dynamically...
Once im connected, when I change the directory, the title is updated and show the full path..
What is the restriction ? The title have to be fixed?

Hi

What version of RDM are you using? We added support for embedded CRT in v8.9.

It works for me, we look for a window that has both SecureCrt and your SecureCRT session name in the title, my session is named with the IP Address in my case.

Hi,

Im using the last version of RDM, 9.2.2.
Now the issue is clear.
It works fine if the crt session is at the root level. But in securecrt, you can organize session in folders.
When I choose the crt session, the syntax for the session is: [foldername][sessionname].
If the crt session in a crt folder, RDM is unable to tab it.
Could you confirm the issue ?

Yes, we are looking for a window titled with the full CRT session name

i.e. [foldername\sessionname]

but the window title is in fact only : [sessionname]

I opened a bug to support subfolders

Thats right, window title is sessionname.

For example, suppose you have a session test.
When the CRT session "test" is located at the root, no problem, RDM is able to tab/embed the session.
When the CRT session "test" is located in a subfolder, example TT\test, RDM cannot tab the session.
In both case the window title is correct, ie test, but for me, tabbing does not work if the crt session is in a subfolder.
