I have been testing this in our environment with an iMac and Maverick OS

This application crashes constantly. 75% of this time I am in a session logging in and it crashes

Reverting back to using Microsoft RDP

Hi Peter,

It's unfortunate that you have so much problem with the application and I wish to help you.
To help you I need some information.

What kind of session are you logging in to ? On what kind of server ?
If you open the Console app do you have anything in the User Diagnostic Reports about Remote Desktop Manager?
Can you send me a few of these reports (You can PM me or send them by email at bsansregret at devolutions dot net

I hope I will be able to help you

Thank you
all are server 2008 R2
embedded credentials do not work

It is just a poor transition form your Windows product, I hate to tell you but it is a waste of our time, it just plain sucks

not a good port!

Hi,

I have talked with the people making FreeRDP (the third party library we are using for embedded connection).
They wanted to know if your are using a service broker for your connection?

Thank you for your time.

Hi Peter,

I am the lead developer of the FreeRDP project, which is what Remote Desktop Manager uses for RDP support on Mac OS X. I understand your frustration.

You say that 75% of the time it crashes during session logging. This might be related to a known open issue in FreeRDP for connection broker support. Can you confirm or infirm the usage of a connection broker in your environment? Do you have anything configured that has to do with load balancing of sessions, or assigning users to specific machines?

No sir
I connect via Cisco Anyconnect to an ASA5501
use the domain admin account and get kicked out

In fact I do no even use it anymore, just Microsoft RDP now
credentialing does not work
