Feature Request

One concern our security department has is, what happens if someone runs off with the database or a backup of the database. We know that the passwords are encrypted, so there's no concern there. However, we noticed, even using Shared Passphrase v2, that things like the Documentation tab is stored in plain text on the database. Although it is our best practice to store sensitive data within the sensitive parts of the vault, it could still be more information than we are wanting to disclose. Ideally, all entries that are not strict metadata (backup timestamps, etc.) would be encrypted.

Pleas make Data Source Settings of Minimal Version Configuration for PVM available in Devolution Server Console and Remote Desktop Manager. Currently in Devolution Server Console you can Configure Windows and Mac minimal Version. But the Settings does only apply to RDM and not to PVM. In RDD the Settings are described clearly. But anyway, when i want to configure PVM Minimal Version i have to install a Copy of PVM, and Log in as Administrator to have the correct settings available.

Problem: After opening a support request, Devolutions Support confirmed that there is no way to centrally manage expiration. Each entry is individually entered and set to a fixed manually-entered date. This doesn't scale well when managing hundreds of passwords. Additionally, reporting appears to be insufficient. Request: 1. Allow an administrator to set a global password expiration value in days 2. Similar to how permissions are inherited, allow folder groups to override and flow down values that are different from the global default 3. Allow individual entries to override folder group and global defaults with their own time-based (not date-based) expiration value 4. Allow the option to default password expiration to date of last password change + the password expiration value 5. Create a password expiration report that works for both Data Entries and Credential Entries showing passwords which are coming due for change Benefits: 1. Midsized and large organizations can set maximum password ages by policy to a consistent value (for example 1 year) 2. Subsets of entries (either by folder group or individually) could have exceptions (for example 3 months or 2 years) 3. Entries would default to a policy value (if set) reducing administrative burden with manual data for potentially hundreds of entries 4. A single password management report would show both Credential and Data Entries, making the reporting much more accurate

Can onedrive support be added? Currently on PC I am able to do an XML data source, but on Android I can't seem to load data directly from OneDrive

would it be possible to add a feature to support the adding and managing of web bookmarks in PVM ? it would be highly convenient to have both web account passwords and web bookmarks in PVM. also in conjunction with this feature(if added), a feature to check for dead bookmarks would be great. Hi, Is there a plan to actually provide some sort of Web API with the same RBAC features on PVM. I'm looking for some way to utilize the actual database in place to share some information or bind the secrets based on the current access granted. I know there's a powershell library in RDM but this does not really fits my needs for this purpose. Kind regards !

At the moment I have to copy the username - paste it to the application where i'd like to use it and then copy-paste for the password. Most of the time I need username and the password in combination. If there would be a functionaly that allows to copy the username and then after pasting automatically would get to password into clipboard the hole process of login would be much faster. I know this functionality from the Password Manager XP and use it there every time when I need to copy a credential. Could be implemented a seperate shortcut, does not need a grafical element at all. Hi, I'm just testing a trial and until now I see all our features included. There is only one thing missing from our wish-list - maybe I just didn't find it: Is it possible to send out an email, when a specific password is used? We want to "mark" sensitive passwords with this feature so we can change it immediately after a technician was using it. If this is not implemented yet, what's the chance and the timeframe for such a feature? Thanks a lot, William

Currently in PVM you can have multiple "Licenses" as this is a multi-line box. However when I choose Import Software Serials from CSV, there is no way to add multiple Licenses to the same software, in turn creating a new entry for each. It would be helpful if for the "Serial" column for import, you could have "Serial1","Serial2,","Serial3". For some software, I have 30+ licenses. Thanks

hello, PVM is one of the most fully featured password managers on the scene and the team deserves massive kudos for their work on it. but like everything in this world it could improve and so please allow me to offer my opinion on some features i'd like to experience with PVM i came across this thread https://forum.devolutions.net/topic16252-pvm-replacement-for-roboform.aspx that is three years old and in it some of the features i'd like to see were mentioned by Stefane. "We don't yet support form filling and new password saving (and many other missing features). These features are slated to be added but no time line has yet to be defined." are these features close to making it to a near future version of PVM ? this would be a case of dotting the i's and crossing the t's as they would make PVM all rounded. another feature that would be useful would be local data source syncing over wifi. for those of us who would not want our logins in the cloud, having the option to sync our datastores between two PVM installs would be priceless. hopefully the team will consider these humble requests. thank you and keep it up.

There is already a feature for this when you select multiple entries in the datastore. right-click and select "Edit>Move to Another Group/Folder" my issue here is that you have to have created the group/folder beforehand. may i suggest, for the sake of convenience, adding a "Create New Group/Folder" option in the Group/Folder dialog so that you do not have to create the folder to move the items into beforehand. as a bonus use case, in my datastore i have several entries that have the same name(the various Amazon domains) and if you have to many of these the display will get very cluttered. as a bonus suggestion that ties in with the one on top it would be very convenient when you right-click and navigate to "Edit>Move to Another Group/Folder"and when you use the "Create New Group/Folder"option have the Gropu/Folder name pre-filled with the name of the entries. so if i have several ebay entries, going through the process of adding a new group when they are selected would have the default name for the new group/folder filled in as ebay.

Dear Devultions-Team We are are using the PVM as credential repository. So there is only one credential link in RDM. When clicking on a credential you normaly see from which sessions this credential is used. As the link object is configured for every session it's unfortunately not usefull anymore. But it would be great to have this information availble instead of checking every session which credential it has configured. Probably it would be possible to resolve this information from all sessions and list it fro this credential type. Hope you understand my idea. PS: I think there is bug for user specific credentials linked from PVM - i think those credentials are not handed over correctly. ;) Regards, AP_ops

Security answer : Black and white It would be grand if it could be possible to import this format as I have hundreds of entries to move over to password vault manager. Credit cards and web logins would be the priority. Alternatively, if you could suggest a way to parse and convert without losing all of the columns not supported in CSV that could be helpful! Hello, I'm going to develop an app that needs a lot of passwords. Nowadays these passwords are stored in a password vault SQL DB. I was wondering how to query from my app directly into the password vault db. How about a webservice/SOAP or a method to receive queries from external applications (API? Don't know... ) ? To enable efficient search in specific folder structure, I suggest the following functionality developed: 1. Mark any folder 2. Ctrl+F 3. Type search string Search returned should be from that specific folder structure only. For flexibility purposes, this should be a per user setting.

Dear Team, I work with RDM 9.2.10.0 and PVM 5.1.2.0 with a SQL Database. When user clic-on a connexion listed in RDM, PVM database start and user is able to list all password. Users have access as "view" in PVM, if I deselect this right, the user has an error in RDM and can not initiate connection. My question is: it’s possible to hide the password database for user, when PVM is linked with RDM ? Best regards, Stéphane

I would to know if it's possible to add real time monitoring feature to PVM and RDM. This supervision could send email/SMS/log information to admin team for following reasons : When an export of database PVM/RDM entry ? When an password PVM entry it’s not strong ? Hi, is there any Password vault integration for external password vaults i.e, CyberArk or Beyond Trust PowerBroker Password Safe planned? Or is there anything planned that even integrated Devolutions Password safe will get ability to randomly change automatically and randomly change AD passwords, local WIN passwords and SSH based passwords? The goal is, to use a password vault which is able to automatically and randomly change AD passwords, local WIN passwords and SSH based passwords. Both vaults mentioned above are able to do so. Combining such a password safe with RDM could enable the usage of RDM without knowing the passwords in the vault, and the vault is able to randomly change those passwords automatically on a scheduled basis. This would be a big big trigger to use your RDM in conjunction with a safe password vault, which enables perfect privileged account security and comfortable usabilty of your RDM product

Do you have an iOS client in the works yet? The desktop version is great, but accessing the data on an iOS device is extremely important to us.
