Hi team,
in the RDM 5.7.0.8 the Description field on the bottom is empty, althrough a description is defined. Backlevel to 5.7.0.6, the description would be again displayed...
When i change the font color of the description text i can see the description. In 5.7.0.6 the background of the Description field was grey in 5.7.0.8 it's white.
But i can not change for all sessions the font color manually.
Can you please verify and fix it? or is there a new option to suppress the defined description? rgs Bob

Hi, It already fixed in my internal build, the description is now an rtf document (rich text format).

hello David,
many thanks for the quick response. Yes the 5.7.0.9 fixed the problem. But when i set the page color for the text e.g. to red, the background in the editor is red too, press SAVE and the description field is still white. Back to the text editor the page color is again white, so it seems the settings are not really saved... Or what is mean with the page color?

Hi, I will verify, maybe the page color not saved in the rtf format.
Thank you for the information.

another behavior is: when i changed the text properties from Tahoma Regular 8 to Tahoma Bold 12 red in session 1, so this change is set global for all sessions in the description field in the main RDM window. But when i would changed the description text properties for session 12, so there the text properities are still Tahoma Regular 8 and all other sessions. The problem is how to find the session where the text properties was changed at first. So this change is a global setting, or can i also set individual for each session?

Hi, It's not global, but I think that I know what might be the problem. I think that the legacy description (those that were not in RTF format) use the last font from the rtf instead of the default.
Does it make sense ?

ok, but there is still another problem with the new description field. 1) edit the text properties from Tahoma Regular 8 to Tahoma Bold 12 red -> save 2) now all descriptions are in Tahoma Bold 12 red.. 3) minimize the RDM into the systray 4) restore the RDM from the systray .... now all descriptions are in standard Tahoma Regular 8 -> until you select the session where you have made the text properties change. from there all sessions are again in Tahoma Bold 12 red.
can you verify this ? Bob
