Hello,

Problem appears when RDM is pinned to Windows 7 taskbar. I am using RDM maximized over the desktop - when I minimize it, and then restore by double-click on program on taskbar, RDM does not return maximized. If I double-click on RDM icon in systray, sometimes it does return normally, ie maximized, sometimes not.

Any thoughts on this one?

Thanks,
Jovan

Hi,
Which version do you use, because I know that I fixed something that might be related. It's in the version 5.6.0.16

Let me know please

The version 5.6 will be released today, maybe you can give it a try when it's available.

Thank you

I have the solution for this, in my RDP file:
desktopwidth:i:1280
desktopheight:i:1024
session bpp:i:16
winposstr:s:0,3,0,0,1380,1124

If the desktopwith and heght are less than the two last entries in wniposstr, the issue isn't there. So I have made my rdp files by adding 100 to each. Problem solved.
In you program, you have to set winposstr accordingly.

Hope this will help you.

Feature request:
Drag and drop sessions between group / Folders , this is the only thing I am missing in this app, evaluationg this now for our Company.

Hi,
Thank you for the solution, I will try that. For your feature request, I'm not sure I understand, do you have the latest version (5.6), because drag and drop of session is here.

Maybe I miss something?

Hi again.
I’m running version 5.6.3.0
I can drag and drop an .rdp file into a group / folder – this works fine.
But if I already have a session in Group / Folder “A”, I would like to drag that to Group / Folder “B”. (Move the session to another Group)
I’m not able to do that. I have to manually edit the session and specify the new Group / Folder.

Hope I'm clearer now?

Hi,
it's exactly what I understand, but it work fine for me in the treeview. I will verify what might be the problem.

Here is a workaround, but then you loose some of the good news in Windows 7 (Aero snap and so on):
Go to: Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Ease of Access Center\Make the mouse easier to use
Check the box: "Prevent windows from being autmatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen"
Hope you can use this until David fixes this

Also, to David:
Have you any luck with my tip on this matter? (Se post in this thread 11/11/2009)

Hi Guys,
I will try to fix this issue, but I must be honest, my new development machine (with Windows 7) is delayed and I was counting on that to get a better trace of what going on. But it should be here soon and it's on my top priority list. By the way, the version 5.7 is now available in the Beta forum.

For DrWatson: your workaround is also a top priority.

Thank you all
