You can specify Default applications at "File | Config | Session Type" but when you create a new session you can specify to use this "default" value. As these may differ from user to user this would be great if RDM gets the users prefered application from the config.

Hi,
This is already like that for the web connection. There is already an item named default in the combobox, but you're right I could add this option for the other applications.

I was just typing a feature request to ask for this for FTP sessions when I searched and found this, it would be a GREAT feature for my users.

maybe i'm wrong but i can not find the "default"-value in the drop down (testing version 5.8.0.1) ...
