In my SSH Shell session, I have configured PAM authentication using credentials and TOTP from a linked vault entry Host: PAM bastion (...+$NAME$@bastion.local) Credentials & OTP: Linked (vault) Password prompt string: Password: OTP prompt string: TOTP - Enter Token: The standard SSH terminal session connects properly and passes the TOTP token automatically without manual intervention. However, when launching Open embedded SFTP from this session, RDM prompts for the TOTP token again instead of retrieving it from the linked vault or reusing the existing authenticated session. Does the embedded SFTP client support automatic OTP handling using the session's configured OTP prompt strings, or does it initiate a separate connection that ignores these rules? Is there a way to open embedded SFTP without having to re-enter the TOTP token manually?

Hey everyone, since around 2026.3.5.0 the taskbar context menu does not work as intended. Every subfolder window should be presented next to the existing window, not above it. Because of this behaviour, every subfolder is opening in an instand when you hover the main folder with the mouse cursor. You cannot select the entry that you want to access. Regards, Daniel.

I have noticed that since the update to 2026.3.15.0 the functions for typing password and typing clipboard in RDM do not work. I can copy the password to the clipboard successfully and use a different utility to type the clipboard into the RDM session, but having it be an easy one click in the taskbar all within RDM is broken. There are no errors, it just doesn't do anything when you click those buttons in the ribbon.

Hi I opened multi ssh terminal sessions, I need click mouse first to get input focus when I use shortcut key to swap between multi tabs, is possible save this one mouse click to getting more smoother keyboard operation without mouse. Thank you.

In addition to the above, and it's probably the same bug: Open RDP session to host1 In quick search box enter host2 and connect Log off of host2 and ensure the host1 tab is selected Observe that the "Actions" menu is missing nearly all the options Clear contents of search box Click "dashboard" tab, then back to host1, and observe "Actions" menu now has all the entries again

I updated to the latest version of Remote Desktop Manager and now I have been getting a weird situation where the keyboard stops working on the remote Windows server. I try to type and nothing happens. Then, if I mess around with it, like close the window and reconnect, it seems to start working. Considering I've had 2 or 3 other usability bugs recently with Remote Desktop Manager and it looks like a major user interface change occurred, I'm suspecting it.

Hi, after a long one year absence from my favorite utility at last my new job is needing it back. I must say that the new whole interface took me by shock to get used to it but i still trying to make things the old way. One of them is the web login. Normal scenario, i use firefox to enter a VCENTER. devolution plug in asked for me to save the credential, i select and it saves the credential and the URL that uses that credential (you can have multiple urls) Then i went and add an entry, web site with the link of vcenter and open with firefox. when i double click the entry the vcenter opens the fields are green and username/password is filled and auto submit the form. Now that is not happening.. First of all if i add a credential for the site and the site as an entry devolutions shows two password entries on the field [image] [image] [image] [image] I did the other method, open firefox and open VCENTER i see the credential and added then a UI opened in the VAULT that i add name, folder, username password a normal entry is added in the RDM, i double click but again the same happens, no auto fill-no submit even though it finds the credentials. What am i doing wrong? Also does the scenario with web credentials and a list of URLs is not working like before. I mean many web sites have the same password/username so i used to go to the credentials of web and add the equivalent URLs and that was it. Pleas assist

Hi. How can I permanently remove the floating connection toolbar that appears within undocked RDP sessions? I'm sure this used to be possible. I know it hides itself but then re-appears when the cursor reaches the top of the screen. [image]

Hello, I am using a Command-Line (External Application) entry that is configured to launch an application under a different user account. Before the application starts, I need to execute a script that performs some user-specific modifications. I configured the script in the "Before opening" event, but it appears to run in the security context of the user who launched Remote Desktop Manager, rather than the user account configured for the external application. Is it possible to execute the "Before opening" event script in the security context of the external application's configured user account?

Hi, Sometimes when opening an existing RDP session the screen does not load. When triggering animations within Windows it only load that part. The workaround now is opening another tab and then go back again. [image] Kind Regards, Arjan

Hi, I am currently using RDM version 2026.3.15.0 I see that RDM is using more and more and more RAM throught the day... 10h45: Fresh start of RDM : +/- 200Mo Ram used 11h50 : No open tabs: 2Gb Ram used (been opening and closing about 5-9 tabs (ssh and Web) 16h30 : 2 web tabs open: 6,8 Gb Ram used.... (not much entries opened since 12h ... ) Quit really weird..... RDM install is fresh, I have removed my rdm and cleaned setting folders for other trouble. I am on a Win 11 - 26h2 Virtual Machine on Proxmox, 16Gb Ram. Looking forward to give more info, if you need, ... just tell me :-) Have a nice day

I've been using RDM for a few years now and have never seen a notification badge count against the application taskbar icon until the last day or so, with no update having been done, i.e., same version etc. [image] I'm sure it is ignorance on my part, but I have looked around and simply cannot see where to "see" these notifications.

Updated to RDM 2026.3.5 and open several tabs and if i single click a tab it with either select like normal, select and become draggable, or undock from the main RDM window. Results seem to be random. I am also seeing RDP instability. Screen writes are not stable, switching between tabs (open RDP sessions) I will get blank screens, half written screens, slow response screens in a session, or a normal screen. Results are random. I am on RDP'd into Windows Server 2025 in an Enterprise environment, running RDM on my jump box.

after 3.15 you add (or not?) ctrl+K to open seach inside RDM. So when ssh connection is focused and i want to remove a line, i can't do it. Doesn't matter what combination UI using, it would confilct with something else. If connection window is focused, i probably want to works inside that window.

We currently use RDM 2026.3.12 on our "normal" notebooks and the same version on our PAW. From time to time the following error appears and stops all new connections from working: "jump to connection failed: NOW-proto worker has been terminated." There dont seem to be any related information in the application logs of the RDM running on the PAW. Hi, since updating from 2026.2.17.0 to 2026.3 (currently 2026.3.15.0, free edition), my undocked RDP session windows can’t be moved anymore. They stay fixed at one position. Working inside the session, minimizing and closing all work normally. As soon as one or more sessions are open, the RDM main window can’t be moved either. Before opening a session, it moves fine. If I use “Move” from the taskbar context menu, I can shift the window with the arrow keys. But as soon as I click somewhere else, it jumps straight back to the fixed position. Environment: RDM 2026.3.15.0 (Free) Windows 10 22H2 (Build 19045.6456) Entry settings: Display: Undocked, current monitor Remote desktop size: 1680x1050 Session recording enabled Already tried, without success: Display scaling: System-aware and DPI unaware Undocked windows mode: Tabbed, Grouped and Standalone Confirmed that “Open undocked sessions maximized” and “Force foreground using ‘always on top’” are disabled This worked fine in 2026.2.17.0. Is this a known issue, or is there a setting I’m missing? Thanks!

On the left side navigation panel I have my RDP connections within their own folders, but how can I see a list of all my connections? If I click on a folder I can see all the entries for that folder on the right side panel under the "Entries" tab. At the top of the navigation tree I have "Local Workspace" but when I click on that, and then on the right panel select "Entries" the panel is empty.

Does this feature exists and if yes how do I use it? Thanks

Hi, what do I need to do to link credentials for the Remote Desktop Manager (RDM) with LAPS data from Entra ID to a PC entry so that authentication works? I can currently go to the LAPS entry connected to Entra, view the current password for a selected computer, and manually copy it into the entry, but there must be a more convenient way... Veeam recently moved to a new set of 'Appliance' based systems, with their own web pages. I tried to set them up in RDM as Sessions with Cred fills, but I ran into a problem. The 'id' fields appear to be be generated on each session, so using the 'discover' option is useless. I gave the 'Automatic' a try and it appears to work, but it only does the initial login and not the OTP. It created what appeared to be variables .. [UserName] [Password] [Enter] I tried [otp] and [Otp], and it didn't work .. I am guessing it's probably something like [One-Time-Password]. Where do I find the doc for these ? As it's not your usual %USERNAME% variable.

Does the Veeam Entry have proper Support for the current Veeam Console Version 13.0.2.29 Because when I create an entry, enter the IP, credentials and link the credentials, it always opens up to either the window where I have to enter the IP address or the login window for the previous server I connected to. It doesn't seem to receive the information I entered into the veeam entry and I don't see any setting inside RDM that could help here. Do I need to set something in the entry, so it works with the v13 Veeam Console? If it doesn't support v13 then my question would be if support for it is planned in the near future. Hi, I'm having the following issue. In the past i was able to copy the username and password and past it into a UAC window on a windows vm. Now width the latest version i can still copy it to my clipboard but cant paste it into the vm. If i go to Home=> Type clipboard nothing happens. I've also noticed that if i after selecting type clipboard and than kilk on the field it starts pasting but is missing part of the data. is there a setting that has changed or because in the past this worked fine.
