Hi,
There is an option to create a folder in the Credentials Repository but is does nothing, why not give the option to create folders in the credentials repository ?
[Using RDM 6.9.5.0 and PVM 1.1]

Folder are always created for the session. You can reuse them in the Credential dialog or enter a folder as a string:

Dev\Credentials\

just wanted to draw the scenario to move a credential repository entry to a folder:
1. create a folder
2. move the cred entry using the "move" action (does drag and drop work?)
3. delete the group from the "session" section

the group will automatically disapare when the last entry is removed.

Why not have the ability to create folders inside the credentials only without any connection to the session section ?

Hi,
You are right and we are aware of this limitation. This is a problem originating from our original architecture. I have few ideas to fix it but since we are at the end of our beta cycle, I'm afraid to introduce more problem than fixing this issue. I definitively plan to fix it soon

For you situation, the workaround is to create the credential and in the credential editor, type the group directly or use the small ... button near the group combobox to create the group. Those groups are not shown if they are empty.

Sorry about this limitation.
