3 mths Credential repository?

OK thanks, Yeah the Import tool imported all my sessions but it imported the sessions without any credentials. If the Import tool can add the linked credentials from the sessions it imports into the sessions it imports onto DPH this would do what i wanted it to do in the first place.

The credential entries the import tool imported to DPH are they usable with anything?? Or are they just for reference only?? As it stands i may as well delete those credentials i imported onto DPH.

If there is a new build of the import tool pls let me know so i can try it....

Thanks

Sorry i wanted to find out if we can use something similar to the credential repositories / credentials / credential lists like you can in RDM where sessions can use those entries. But when i imported my data to DPH the sessions entries credentials were empty and there doesn't appear to be a way to set credentials from those credential entries on DPH?

Whats the best practice for credentials on sessions on DPH?? surely it cant be typing logins in manually?? ive got hundreds of session entries so it would take ages. Am i missing something or is this how DPH works at the moment??

Is there a feature on your todo list to allow you to set credential entries in the session entries like u can in RDM?

Can we get a credential repository on DPH? Or someway to use Credential entries with the Session entries on DPH so that i dont have to manually edit sessions and add credentials manually?

Ive imported my Data into DPH but the RDP Sessions dont have the facility to use credential entries like in RDM? All i can see is a manual field for Username & Password?? How do you use credential entries on DPH??

Is that view only available in certain Data Source types?? Im using Devolution's online drive and its not there?

I worked it out in the end, that activity log seems to only be available for local data source but i use Devolution's Online drive which doesn't seem to have that same log. Does that mean i either have to migrate my data or find an alternate method to track the session time?

Thanks

5 mths Time Tracking???

Does RDM have any sort of build in Time tracking available to make use of???

Im looking for a way to log my session time. I was trying out Toggl but manually starting and stopping the timer didnt really work as i ended up forgetting or not switching projects, i then looked into the Toggl API but i dont know enough about coding to make and sense of that. I then looked for Powershell scripts to interact with the Toggl api, i tried PSToggl but it didnt seem to work either.

I know you can trigger scripts from each session but like i say im not a developer so I dont know enough to code something myself, If anyone has a way to log time in RDM id love to hear how you did it and look at borrowing your idea myself. Toggl API would work if i could code.

Look forward to hearing from anyone who has a solution i can use.

Thanks

I just tried installing then running the latest beta 2019.1.27.0 but i get an authentication popup window which ive never had before but it then gives me script errors on a js file at https://login.devolutions.com and i cant use my Devolutions online drive data source nor login with my cloud account. I had to uninstall and install the latest RTM version to be able to use RDM again.

Thanks

Ive just hit a new problem with some of my sessions via RDP. Everytime i try to open these specific entries my RDM app just crashes without any notification of any kind? But most of my other RDP entries connect without issues?

Ive not changed any settings in these RDP sessions so am unsure where to start looking to troubleshoot this? I did recently upgrade to the latest release though but i cant remember if id actually used these RDP sessions with this version or not though?

Any ideas? I will try installing from the last version i have which is 14.0.11.0.

the error i get is this :

System.IO.IOException: The specified registry key does not exist.
at Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey.Win32Error(Int32 errorCode, String str)
at Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey.GetValueKind(String name)
at Devolutions.RemoteDesktopManager.Managers.PolicyManager.get_IsRDPRestrictedAdminModePolicyEnabled()

I can see its got something to do with Restricted Admin Mode but i dont use that on any sessions and ive checked my local group policies and its not set there? The error does go away when i enable Restricted Admin Mode on a session though so i assume that points to a reg setting problem perhaps?

Any ideas?

Thanks

I setup certifacate security on my data source, it worked fine until i reinstalled RDM. Ive got the correct certificate and im sure ive got it in the right place as when i have it where ive got it now i dont receive the error saying the certificate could not be found. However i still cannot access my data source as i get a different error now: -

NullReferenceException - Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
