Using FreeRDP undocked or tabbed you need to click into the session before you can enter a password.
You think the undocked windows has focus
In RDM for Windows you can start typing right away. I know, but using both windows and mac at the same time you are used to start typing after the windows pops up. Can this be fixed (low priority, nice to have) ?

Windows 2003 server: True color (24 bits) and Highest Quality (32 bits): graphics not working right, lower quality it runs fine. Performance flags: 'Font smoothing' disabled solves the problem. Enabled causes problems in combination with 24bits or 32bits quality settings. Hope this helps.

Every time Richard. Unhide tab bar indeed 'solves' the problem. So it is related to hiding the tab bar. Good thinking!

Richard, Its getting worse. Working with version 30, fresh machine, no sessions made so far its starts like this:
I am connecting a Windows 2003 machine. I know, old stuff, but customers still run this OS. 'Adjust remote desktop size for windows chrome' switch does not make any difference.

As we know FreeRDP stops working (freeze). Starting the same session again sometimes gives this

After closing a session FreeRDP reports this:
I know I closed the session in windows, now I have to close its window on my Mac manually. Can you make a switch in the preferences that this window may be close automatically?

Hi Richard, Smart Sizing on or off does not make a difference. You should see tree knobs at the bottom:

I think perhaps the best thing might be, to have a shortcut to show/hide the tab bar (like in Safari). Thanks for your feedback. Really nice that you guys listen to your customers, better said: users of your program. Put a switch into the Preferences? I do not need to have more sessions in one window, I use multiple windows placed on several virtual screens. In my work I am doing several tasks at the same time. So every customer gets his own virtual screen: RDP session, ticket opened in a web browser, some documents etc. Switching from one customer to another moves everything related to that customer. Thats the way I keep my work organized.

Yep

I do understand you are working on it. I do understand it's a Beta program. So I am not complaining. I know its frustrating. Every day I start using RDM manager, just the way I used to do before I had a Mac. Pitty for me that Teamviewer is not working (I hope that will change). I stick to only RDP sessions to windows machines. But after two or three sessions are frozen or RDM is crashed I have to start MS RDP and get on with my work. I try, as a Beta tester, to give you feed back as good as I can. Hope you understand what I mean, English is not my native language.

After a while working in FreeRDP: (SBS server 2011)
Switch to MS RDP (same session):
Switch back to FreeRDP: problem solved. Sorry te say, but it is not robust. Apart from crashes and freeze problems. MS RDP is stable. But credentials are not transferred from RDM to MS RDP.

I'm using my display undocked. There is always one tab used which is a wast of space:
Nice to have tabs in Embedded mode, but no use in Undocked mode.

Hi Richard, Running 0.9.18.0 with tree Windows servers. This time 2008 R2 hang, both 2012 servers up and running. No specific terminal output to be sent, didn't change anything in RDM.

Bad news: session frozen. This time I was doing something, e.g. working remotely. The difference with yesterday was that those 5 sessions were running idle. I hope this feedback helps a bit ...
