When I click File > Options the program freezes and I cannot click on anything other than the system tray icon that works fine. I am using Standard Edition 5.8.2.1. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
It happens when I run it as a normal user, or and administrator, under Windows 7.
Hi,
I saw this type of error sometime and it's always related to a dual screen problem. Just to be sure, after you clicked, can try to press Escape and see if it unfreeze (it close the dialog). I was unable to reproduce it and there is some code to avoid that, but it seems that for reason that I don't understand, it still there.
The workaround, if it frozen, press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+INSERT: this will center the window on your screen

You're right - I am using dual monitors. Escape unfreezes it, but CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+INSERT doesn't work. I'm still unable to access the program's options menus. Ant other ideas?
Sorry,
my mistake, it's only ALT+INSERT

I am having this problem on the latest version (beta 5.9.0.24) only on a single 64bit Win 7 Pro laptop with dual screens, the 32 bit ones are fine. The ALT+Insert works but is there a permanent solution?

Hi,
Is it possible that it's not a freeze? Just to be sure, I think that the option dialog open out of screen. can you press escape to see if it unfreeze ?

It doesn't matter the user has reported that since the ALT+Insert it comes up each time now
Thanks for the reply

Hi,
I changed the default position, it's not screen centered by default.
