Deprecated entries -> Search

There are already some ways to do this.

1- Filter in the navigation

The first is to activate the "Type" option of the filter. This will make it so you can type the entry type in your search and get that as a result. This works well if you work vault by vault


2- Advanced search

You can go in view -> Search -> Advanced search (or press F11) and go in the "All vaults" section and add a condition for the Connection type.

This mode has the benefit of searching cross vault. However, I believe that depending on your type of Workspace AKA data source, the dropdown might not contain all connection types as RDM supports more entry types than DVLS and Devolutions Cloud.

Thanks for your answer, those printscreens are coming from RDM while I'm talking about Devolutions. Is there any way to do that in Devolutions ?

You should be able to do the advanced search from the web as well.


Click in here

It prompts this then click advanced search


And then you can do your search.

I'm aware... now take a quick look at what kind of connection type you can actually search : the "Information - Login(account)" that is deprecated and going to be removed isn't in the list.

I think you're right, being able to search for deprecated entry types would definitely make managing and replacing them a lot easier.

I'll go ahead and create an internal issue so the team can evaluate adding this in a future version.
